Who We Are

On 21st August 2005, the Hotel & Lodge Owners of Bakkhali & Frezerganj came together with a vision to promote tourism in the region. The decision to form an association was finalized in the meeting held on 25th September 2005 at Hotel Sea View.

For official registration, the name “Bakkhali Frezerganj Hoteliers Association” was selected. The Rules & Regulations and Memorandum of Association were finalized, and a Governing Body was formed.

On 20th November 2005, the association officially emerged with legal status. On 6th November 2006, it received its official registration under the name “Bakkhali Frezerganj Hoteliers Welfare Association” with Registration No: S/1L – 40272 of 2006-2007.
